HKADA established in 1995. We are the only member of the Alzheimer’s Disease International and the first local organization specialized in providing services to people living with dementia and their families in Hong Kong. We are running on a fully self-financed, non-profit making basis, without Government subvention
HKADA aims to provide professional and multi-therapeutic activities/ services to people living with dementia and their care givers. It also provides different levels of training and education to professionals, care givers and the public, to enhance their knowledge and skills as to achieve the effects of “Early Detection, Early Treatment, Early Planning”.
In the recent years, taking reference of the Chinese Confucian’s Six Arts framework, HKADA designed an integrative model for physical, social and cognitive stimulation and put to practice in its cognitive training programmes.
